In Greek mythology, a little owl (Athene Noctua) traditionally represents or accompanies Athena.
She is one of three virgin goddesses; the other two were Hestia and Artemis.
She is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilisation, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill.
Tides (salt water) is linked to the moon, the moon is linked to the owl.
Sodium chloride (salt) has often been used to represent wisdom, e.g in the Bible, salt also came to symbolise purity, perfection, wisdom, hospitality, durability, and fidelity. Romans gave salt and thus wisdom to all newborns. The design features the chemical compound diagram (circles & lines)
Silver is connected to the Moon. You can see the symbol within the design. It is one of the most versatile metals, one of the 3 base metals in Alchemy.
