Samael is an archangel ( also known as the angel of death , venom, severity of God & Warrior of God )
Samael is often confused with Satan, because he often has grim and destructive duties ( e.g he takes the soul away from man ) he is also a fallen angel. Some believe that he is the incarnation of evil & the prince of devils. Some believe he is a great prince in heaven. Although his evil pursuits are far more documented. ( He is depicted as a demon in both jewish and christian lore )
