PAPER: Hahnemühle Etching Paper. 300 gsm. 4 deckle edges. Natural White. Cold pressed acid free (4.5" x 6.5”)

JAPANESE PAPER FLOWER: Kitakata Green.

INK: Strong & Soft Black Etching Ink.

MOUNT: Size: 5" x 7” (Aperture 3.5” x 5”) Larson Juhl 1.4mm mount & backing board in vanilla, with white core (Presented in a protective cellophane bag)

The piece features a winter hellebore in our signature drawing style.

Each etching is signed & numbered on the front by the artist, in pencil.

Chine collé is a printmaking technique that involves bonding a thin layer of paper to a thicker support paper. The image is then printed onto the thin layer of paper. This etching uses a subtle green Kitakata gampi paper.
Intaglio etching is a labour intensive printmaking technique that involves incising a design onto a copper plate. The plate is then inked. The ink is then drawn from the incised lines, onto dampened paper, using an etching press.

These highly detailed, intricate plates ensure each print is unique, making every piece a true one-of-a-kind etching.

Prints may vary a little to the ones depicted in the listing. As they are printed by hand, individually. But we aim to keep each one as similar as possible.

I print in small editions, keeping the work precious and limited.
I generally have a proportion of the edition already printed.

Please be aware that the pieces may be printed to order. It may take up to two weeks to fulfil your order (accounting for the drying time)

Items are posted from the UK. The etching may be sent in a self folding box. It may also contain up-cycled packaging. UK, Europe & International charges apply.
